Today it was a wonderful day for me because I had my first experience in the teaching practicum for me. I think it was amazing because all the students participated in the different activities and they really enjoyed the Warm-up I presented. the warm-up is called Ban-Ban, and I learnt it somewhere. I could notice that those students really like to participate it doesn't matter if they make mistakes. I arrived very early to the classroom and there were no students yet. then, some students appeared but they didn't enter because they so the teacher was not there. It was kind of funny because maybe they thought it was the wrong room, lol. I think everything went okay just kind of nervous and that's why some words cannot be pronounced well. When I finished my class, the teacher started telling the students the mistakes they had made during my presentation, so now I know I have to do it, too.

FIRST TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I laughed when I read about the students thinking it was the wrong classroom, the same thing happened to me. The mistakes feedback is interesting, good info.

ReplyDeleteThat´s great. you are with basic right???? so that at that level is very important to give feedback on mistakes students make, so that they do not go on making them.
ReplyDeleteNice to hear that you did well! you should share the warm up with us so that we can use in some of our classes. Nervousness can make us misspronounce words even though we know the correct way to say it, but with more practice we will overcome it.

ReplyDeleteIt is nice to know that you had a good class. Maybe it is because you already have experience in the teaching area. You did not mention anything about the feedback you recieved. It would be nice if you share so that we can get advices!
